Our founder and lead designer is Josh Jakus. Trained as an architect at UC Berkeley, Josh combines basic materials with organic geometries to create the unexpected. Even though Josh’s work is unusual, it is also accessible and appealing. Instructions are not required and explanation is unnecessary.

We partner with domestic manufacturers (often local to our Oakland, CA studio) who share our attention to detail and commitment to quality. We use natural or recycled materials whenever possible, and our supply chain is streamlined to eliminate waste.
